傳播學（Communication）是研究人類一切傳播行為和傳播過程發生、發展的規律以及傳播與人和社會的關系的學問，是研究社會信息系統及其運行規律的科學。傳播學研究傳播過程，即傳者、媒介、受者、傳播內容、傳播效果。傳播學研究的重點是人與人之間信息傳播過程、手段、媒介；傳遞速度與效度，目的與控制，也包括如何憑借傳播的作用而建立一定的關系。
