Our group has very strong experience in the fields such as nanomaterials, nanophotonics/nanoplasmonics (covering visible/NIR/MWIR/THz), and nanoelectronics. You would definitely be able to get a lot of great opportunities here. 

If you would like to know more about our group or UCLA EE in general to help you make the decision at this moment, please let us know.

感覺像是被反套了？之前并沒有收到UCLA的任何郵件，所以并不知道make the decision是啥意思...

打算這樣回復：

Hi, I am very interested in knowing more about the opportunity to work in your research group. Would you please tell me more about your group and research projects that you are currently working on? I have not received any admission decision from UCLA yet.

郵件的發件人一直都是我在網申系統里面選擇的感興趣的導師組里的博士生，他在給我發郵件時一直抄送導師以及另外一名博士生。他今天回復了我的郵件，給我介紹了他在組里研究的課題內容，并請另外一個博士生也給我介紹研究的課題內容。還說了關于錄取的問題要問那位導師。請問這有可能意味著那位導師是錄取委員會里的么？

@AtLAN7　博士只是導師的傳話人，應該是這個導師委托這個博士幫他篩選學生，導師自己應該也是看過你的材料，才讓博士聯系你的。這個導師會這么聯系你，就證明他有相當自主的權利，是不是錄取委員會都不重要。

這樣，那我是否應該向導師直接咨詢我申請的情況呢。還是等另外一個博士生給我介紹研究課題內容之后再回復說，謝謝你給我介紹你們的研究組，如果我被錄取了將會很愿意加入你們組？

感覺這應該算是反套了吧，在一畝三分地論壇上只有2個人跟我收到了同樣的郵件。
