暫時不想讀博，以項目質量與就業看的話，選哥大stat還是umich stat？

想去美國讀phd，個人把安娜堡，UCLA，卡耐基，康奈爾作為最高目標，請問我該主申哪些學校及保底校？求版主推薦，謝謝

大家好，我現在收到了圣地亞哥州立大學和加州大學戴維斯分校PhD聯合項目的offer，目前我還沒有確定是否接受offer，這位AP是華人，與我現在的導師熟識，希望我能盡快做出決定，他擔心會影響他招生，但是后面申請的學校的offer還沒有消息，很是糾結，不知道如何選擇，請大家幫忙出出主意，今天就是協商決定是否接受offer的最后日期了。

目標學位：Master（想畢業之后工作） 1. 本專業國外Master項目大多在Geography下，GIS方向的Master項目感覺不錯的有Wisconsin-Madison，但感覺這個項目申請難度較大，再者本專業碩士畢業可能沒有CS碩士畢業好就業，所以在糾結要不要申請本專業的Master項目…… 2. 有一個想法是想先申GIS專業一般，但CS不錯的院校，比如UIUC，北卡教堂山。考慮進去之后多選一些CS方面的課程，但不知道這個做法的可操作性有多大，害怕到時候沒有時間再修CS的課程，求各位前輩指點； 3. 直接申CS，雖然本科課程與CS交叉較多，但直接申CS應該沒有優勢，加之相關信息較少，所以想請教各位大大，大約可以申哪一區間內的院校，專排30-40？T-T

現人在美國，已獲得美國本科的offer，J1簽證到7月份，想請教下能不能不回國，直接在美國的使館辦理簽證手續嗎？

不好意思又來麻煩你，這兩天看到商業分析這個專業好像挺不錯的，然后對本科計算機也比較友好，所以想申幾個學校試試，但是由于比較急，所以不太了解這些學校，想麻煩您幫著介紹或者這說推薦一下值得去的學校（有一定希望且值得讀的）。

This Dean’s Fellowship is an award that covers the fall 2017 and spring 2018 semesters.
Starting with summer 2018, you are eligible to receive a graduate assistantship for a total
of 10 additional semesters. The stipend for each semester is $10,335, resulting in a
twelve-month stipend of $31,005. In addition, the award includes tuition remission each
semester for a maximum of 12 semester hours per semester in your program of study as
approved by your academic advisor and by the Graduate School of Engineering. This
award covers the University Health Insurance fee, which is currently $2,159; however, it
does not cover other fees such as the University Health & Counseling Services Fee, student
center, and student activity fees (approximately $500 for the academic year). Therefore,
the approximate total annual value of this award package, including stipend, tuition
remission, and health insurance is $86,120.  

我申請的是2017秋季。這里面的意思是第一年是Fellowship,后面是graduate assistantships嗎？10 additional semesters是啥意思呢？
